Arrival
in Moshi
Karibu! Welcome to Tanzania. From the moment you step onto the tarmac of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your private guide, easily recognized by their personalized sign, will be there to greet you with a big smile.
The journey begins. Enjoy a comfortable transfer to your lodge, your first stop on this Tanzanian safari, immersing yourself in the lush landscapes of the Arusha region nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Once settled in, take time to relax. Your evening will be dedicated to unwinding and a full briefing with your guide, who will present the detailed itinerary of the exceptional adventure awaiting you from the following day.

Visit Materuni & Arrival
in Arusha, Gateway to Safaris
On this first day, you will discover Materuni Waterfalls following a hike at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Your guide will pick you up from the hotel at 9 AM to take you to the village of Materuni.
After registering, you will walk about 45 minutes to the waterfalls, where you can rest or swim. Then, you will return to the village for a coffee experience, where you will learn about growing and roasting coffee beans while listening to local songs. Afterwards, the "mamas" will prepare a traditional lunch. During the afternoon, you will be transported to your hotel located in Arusha.

Tarangire and its
Giant Baobabs
After breakfast, your private guide will head towards Tarangire National Park. Aboard your open-roof 4x4, you'll discover a spectacular landscape, famous for its ancient baobabs and vast herds of elephants that have made it renowned.
Your Tarangire safari will focus around the river, a true magnet for wildlife where zebras, wildebeests, and predators come to drink. At midday, the experience continues with an unforgettable picnic lunch in the heart of the bush — a special moment up close with nature. You'll return to your lodge in the late afternoon, enjoying the golden light over the savannah, your mind filled with the first powerful images of your journey in Tanzania.

On the Way to the
Heart of the Serengeti
This morning, the adventure takes on a new dimension as you leave the Tarangire region and head to Africa's most legendary park: the Serengeti. The journey itself is a spectacle, crossing the fertile highlands of Karatu and the breathtaking landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
As you approach the endless plains, you'll feel the vastness of this unique ecosystem. Your Serengeti safari begins as soon as you enter the park. The roof of your 4x4 stays open so you don't miss any of the constant wildlife action. Your expert guide will lead you to the central Seronera region, famous for its high concentration of predators. This first en-route safari is often filled with excitement. By late afternoon, you'll reach your tented camp for a magical evening, surrounded by the sounds of the African savannah.

Hot Air
Balloon Flight
This morning you will be picked up at your lodge by our partner to experience the sunrise over the savannah in a hot air balloon. You will be welcomed by the team who will offer you breakfast and brief you about the flight. After the flight over the plains, a reception will take place and a meal will be served amidst the wildlife.
In the afternoon, you will resume your safari aboard your jeep. You will return to camp late afternoon, your memory filled with the treasures of this Tanzanian safari.

Serengeti: In the
Realm of the Big Cats
These days in the Serengeti will be dedicated to an in-depth exploration of the Seronera region. Nicknamed the "predator capital," this valley is an incredibly rich ecosystem that guarantees exceptional wildlife sightings year-round, regardless of the Great Migration.
Your expert guide will use their experience to track lion prides lounging on the "kopjes," those rocky outcrops overlooking the savannah. You will scan the acacia branches for the stealthy silhouette of a leopard and admire the elegance of cheetahs. Of course, this quest for the big cats will be punctuated by encounters with giraffes, buffalo, and hippos. A picnic enjoyed in the shade of an acacia will complete this day of total immersion.

Descent into the
Ngorongoro Crater
After a final morning safari to say goodbye to the Serengeti, you will take the road to another Tanzanian wonder: the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. This journey offers spectacular views from the volcano's rim before the dizzying descent.
You will plunge 600 meters deep into the world's largest intact caldera, a unique ecosystem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This safari inside the Ngorongoro Crater is an extraordinary experience: on a limited area, an exceptional density of wildlife coexists. It is one of the best places on the planet to see the Big 5 in a single day, with excellent chances to encounter the highly protected black rhinoceros. A picnic lunch by Lake Magadi, home to flamingos, will add a magical touch to this unforgettable Tanzanian safari.

Flight to the Spice
Island, Zanzibar
Enjoy one last breakfast in the heart of the bush, listening one final time to the sounds of the wild nature that surrounded you. It's time to say goodbye to your safari guide before taking the scenic drive to Arusha airport.
Today, the adventure changes: you leave the land of lions for that of sultans. Your domestic flight from Arusha to Zanzibar is an experience in itself. Watch through the window as the continent fades away, giving way to the endless shades of blue of the Indian Ocean announcing your arrival in paradise. On the Spice Island, a new driver will welcome you for your transfer. The journey to your beachfront hotel immerses you in the tropical vibe of the island. Unpack your bags — white sands and turquoise waters await. The beach portion of your trip to Tanzania begins.

Relaxation &
Turquoise Waters
Your first full day of relaxation in Zanzibar begins. Wake up to the gentle sound of the waves and enjoy breakfast overlooking the vast Indian Ocean. Today's plan is simple: embrace the local rhythm, the famous "pole pole" (slowly, slowly).
During your days, the magnificent beaches of Zanzibar are yours to enjoy, with their flour-fine sand and waters displaying an incredible gradient of blues. Lounge on a sunbed with a good book, swim in the warm, crystal-clear waters, or take a long walk along the shore while watching the "dhows," traditional boats gliding on the horizon. It's the perfect opportunity to completely disconnect after the intensity of the safari and simply savor the present moment.

Last Moments
on the Island
Here is your last full day in paradise, a moment to soak up one last time the special laid-back vibe of Zanzibar. Time slows down to let you fully savor the end of your Zanzibar vacation. The schedule is free and yours to create: a final swim in the warm, crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean, a nap under a coconut tree, or searching for the most beautiful shell during a long walk on the warm sand.
In the late afternoon, don't miss the daily yet always unique spectacle of the Zanzibar sunset. Get comfortable, feet in the sand with a fresh fruit cocktail, and watch the sky ignite with fiery colors. It's the perfect moment to recall the highlights of your safari and engrave these last images of Tanzania in your memory.

Departure
All good things must come to an end, and this last morning is here to be savored gently. Take your time for a final breakfast overlooking the Indian Ocean, reminiscing about the flavors and colors of your stay in Zanzibar. Depending on your flight schedule, the morning is free. It's the perfect opportunity for one last dip in the turquoise waters, a short stroll to buy some local handicrafts, or simply to sit on the white sand and let your mind wander over the highlights of your adventure.
When the time comes, your driver will take you for your transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ). It's time to say goodbye, but not farewell. You will board your return flight with your head and heart full of unforgettable images: the majesty of an elephant in Tarangire, the vastness of the Serengeti, and the serenity of Zanzibar's beaches. This is not the end of a journey, but the beginning of Tanzanian memories that will last a lifetime.

For optimal wildlife viewing, the long dry season of June to October is unmatched. The vegetation is low and the animals congregate near water sources, making safaris particularly fruitful.
For lush green landscapes and the magic of new life, the period of January to March is exceptional, particularly in the southern Serengeti (Ndutu). This is the ideal time for photographers and for observing the intense activity of predators.
To avoid the crowds and enjoy attractive rates, the rainy seasons (March to May and November-December) transform the landscape into a lush garden. These periods offer a more intimate experience of Tanzania.
