Day by Day

  • Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

    On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, your friendly Africa Bucket List guide will meet you and take you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. The next day, your private safari begins. Your guide will make sure you have a great time and enjoy your safari to the full.

  • Day 2: Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast in Arusha, embark on a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you'll witness the vibrant colours of Tanzania and may catch a glimpse of Maasai herders with their herds of goats. Once in Tarangire, you'll be greeted by a vast golden savannah surrounding the Tarangire River. Known as the ‘elephant playground’, this park is home to Tanzania's largest population of elephants. Tarangire is also home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle. 

  • Day 3: Ngorongoro National Park

    The Ngorongoro Crater is a unique experience in Africa. Descending to the crater floor reveals a world of its own, where you'll encounter a hyena population of 600, as well as critically endangered black rhinos. You'll also see elephants with precious big tusks and over 50 lions. The beauty of Ngorongoro, with its steep forest walls, secret waterways and abundant wildlife, will remain etched in your memory.

  • Day 4: Serengeti National Park

    After breakfast, you will set off for the magnificent Serengeti National Park. In the late morning, you will reach the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most famous national park in the world. You'll go on safari and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, the fantastic changes in light and, of course, you'll spot the many animals that have made this their home. Your driver-guide will be delighted to share his knowledge of this incredible place, its flora and fauna.

  • Day 5: Serengeti National Park & Ballon ride

    Early in the morning, you will be picked up by our partners for a hot-air balloon ride. At dawn, you'll soar over the savannah to admire the breathtaking landscape bathed in the golden hues of sunrise and spot wildlife from a unique aerial vantage point. After the ballooning adventure, your safari continues on the ground, where you'll cross the iconic plains in search of the Big Five and other remarkable creatures. Expert guides will lead you through the different habitats of the Serengeti, so you can capture the essence of this famous wilderness in one extraordinary day.

  • Day 6 to 11: Flight to Zanzibar

  • Day 12: Departure
    It's already time to say goodbye. Enjoy a final leisurely breakfast, followed by a relaxing moment on the beach to savor the last hours of your stay in paradise.
