Day by Day

  • Day 1: Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

    On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, your friendly Africa Bucket List guide will meet you and take you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. The next day, your private safari begins. Your guide will make sure you have a great time and enjoy your safari to the full.

  • Day 2: Materuni Waterfalls

    On this first day, you'll discover Materuni Waterfalls following a hike at the foot of Kilimanjaro.

    Your guide will pick you up from your hotel at 9 a.m. to take you to the village of Materuni.
    After registering, you'll walk about 45 minutes to the waterfalls, where you can rest or swim.

    Afterwards, you'll return to the village for a coffee experience, where you'll learn how to grow and roast the beans while listening to local songs.

    Afterwards, the “mama's” will prepare a traditional lunch. In the afternoon, you'll be transported to your hotel in Arusha.

  • Day 3: Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast, we'll take you to Tarangire National Park in northern Tanzania, a veritable nugget of African wildlife.

    The park is famous for its majestic baobabs, which dominate the landscape, and its large concentrations of elephants, creating impressive scenes. Crossed by the Tarangire River, it is an oasis for diverse wildlife, attracting thousands of animals, including zebras, wildebeests, lions and giraffes.

    With over 500 species of birds, Tarangire is also a birdwatcher's paradise, offering exceptional viewing opportunities.

    In the late afternoon, you'll return to your lodge, your heart filled with unforgettable memories of this immersion in Tanzania's wilderness.

  • Day 4: Serengeti National Park

    After enjoying your breakfast, you'll set off for the mythical Serengeti National Park, a must-see stop on your adventure.

    Recognized as one of the most spectacular and iconic ecosystems on the planet, the Serengeti is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    With its vast golden plains, iconic acacia trees and exceptional wildlife, the park is a veritable paradise for nature lovers and wildlife photographers.

    This day will be dedicated to exploring the first part of the park. You'll have the opportunity to experience an unforgettable safari, where every detour could reveal a new surprise.

  • Day 5: Serengeti National Park & Ballon ride

    Second day in the heart of Serengeti National Park.

    Early in the morning, you will be picked up by our partners for a hot-air balloon ride. At dawn, you'll soar over the savannah to admire the breathtaking landscape bathed in the golden hues of sunrise and spot wildlife from a unique aerial vantage point. a chance to witness the magical spectacle of sunrise over the savannah. At this time of day, the colors are intense and unique, providing the perfect light for observing wildlife and searching for predators, particularly active at dawn.

    This day will also allow you to explore another part of the park, revealing new landscapes and an ever-fascinating diversity of animals.

    At midday, you'll enjoy an open-air meal, in perfect harmony with this wild and majestic setting.

    After a day rich in discoveries and emotions, you'll return to your lodge for a well-deserved evening of relaxation.

  • Days 6 & 7: The great migration

    Wake up early and set off at dawn to observe the wildebeest migration in the north of Serengeti. Follow the movement of the herds as informed by your guide and try to witness some spectacular river crossings, where the wildebeest brave the crocodiles to reach new grazing areas. It's an impressive and moving sight to see these thousands of animals on the move.

  • Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater

    This morning, departure for an emblematic site unique in the world: the Ngorongoro Crater.

  • Day 9 : Flight to Zanzibar

  • Days 10 to 13: Zanzibar

    This morning we wake up early for an early safari with a packed breakfast. At 10:30am you will be transferred to the Serengeti airport where you will take off for Zanzibar.  You can relax in your comfortable room, enjoy the swimming pool and stroll along the hotel's private beach.

    During your stay you can also take part in a variety of exciting excursions to explore the treasures of Zanzibar.

  • Day 14: Departure

    Today, it's off home; you'll have breakfast in the morning, followed by a relaxing moment on the beach. Later, you'll be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home. It was a pleasure to welcome you to Tanzania, and we hope your bucket list has been completed with us.
