Day 1

Arrival & Immersion in Moshi

Moshi

Karibu! Welcome to Tanzania. From your first steps on the tarmac of Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your private guide—identifiable by your personalized welcome sign—will be there to greet you with a warm smile.

Your journey begins. Enjoy the comfortable transfer to your lodge, the first stop on your Tanzanian safari, for an immersion into the lush landscapes of the Arusha region, nestled at the foot of Mount Meru. Once settled, take time to unwind. Your evening will be dedicated to relaxation and a comprehensive briefing with your guide, who will present the detailed program of the exceptional adventure that awaits you starting tomorrow.

Day 2

Visit to Materuni and arrival in Arusha, the Safari Gateway

Tarangire

After breakfast, your private guide heads toward Tarangire National Park. Aboard your open-roof 4x4, you will discover a spectacular landscape, famous for its ancient baobab trees and the massive elephant herds that have made it renowned.

Your Tarangire safari will focus around the river, a true wildlife magnet where zebras, wildebeests, and predators come to drink. At midday, the experience continues with an unforgettable picnic lunch in the heart of the bush—a special moment spent close to nature. You will reach your lodge at the end of the day, enjoying the golden light over the savannah, your mind filled with the first powerful images of your trip to Tanzania.

Day 3

Tarangire and its Giant Baobabs

Tarangire

Enter the vastness of the Serengeti. Here, every horizon tells a story. Your mobile camp is strategically positioned to follow the movements of the Great Migration.

Every 4x4 excursion is a photographic quest. Our guides know the trails like the back of their hand and know how to anticipate the movements of predators.

Day 4

On the Road to the Heart of the Serengeti

Serengeti

This morning, the adventure takes on a new dimension as you leave the Tarangire region to reach the most mythical park in Africa: the Serengeti. The journey itself is a spectacle, crossing the fertile highlands of Karatu and the grand landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

As you approach the endless plains, you will feel the vastness of this unique ecosystem. Your Serengeti safari begins the moment you enter the park. Your 4x4 roof remains open so you don't miss a single moment of the constant spectacle of wildlife. Your expert guide will drive you toward the central Seronera region, renowned for its high concentration of predators. This first safari drive is often rich in emotion. At the end of the day, you will reach your tented camp for a magical evening, close to the sounds of the African savannah.

Day 5

Day of Exploration in the Serengeti

Serengeti

This day is entirely dedicated to exploring the legendary Serengeti National Park. Accompanied by your expert guide, you will follow the tracks in search of the most spectacular wildlife scenes. Depending on the season, they will lead you as close as possible to the Great Migration herds—a unique natural spectacle in the world.

The quest for great predators will be at the heart of your Serengeti safari: lions, cheetahs, and leopards are the masters of these endless plains. A picnic lunch in the middle of the bush will add a touch of unforgettable adventure to your day. You will return to camp in the late afternoon, your memory filled with the treasures of this Tanzanian safari.

Day 6

Serengeti: In the Kingdom of Big Cats

Lions

This new day in the Serengeti is dedicated to an in-depth exploration of the Seronera region. Known as the "predator capital," this valley is an incredibly rich ecosystem that guarantees exceptional sightings year-round, regardless of the Great Migration.

Your expert guide will use their experience to track lion prides lounging on the "kopjes"—the rocky outcrops that dominate the savannah. You will scan the acacia branches for the stealthy silhouette of a leopard and observe the elegance of cheetahs. Of course, this quest for big cats will be punctuated by encounters with giraffes, buffaloes, and hippos. The picnic, enjoyed under the shade of an acacia tree, will complete this day of total immersion.

Day 7

Descent into the Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro

After a final morning safari to say goodbye to the Serengeti, you will head toward another wonder of Tanzania: the incredible Ngorongoro Crater. This route will offer spectacular views from the volcano's ridge before the dizzying descent.

You will dive 600 meters deep into the world's largest intact caldera, a unique UNESCO-listed ecosystem. This Ngorongoro Crater safari is an extraordinary experience: within a confined area, an exceptional density of wildlife coexists. It is one of the best places on the planet to see the Big Five in a single day, with excellent chances of encountering the highly protected black rhino. A picnic lunch by Lake Magadi, populated by pink flamingos, will add a touch of magic to this unforgettable Tanzanian safari.

Day 8

Fly to the Spice Island, Zanzibar

Zanzibar

Savor one last breakfast in the heart of the bush, listening one last time to the sounds of the wildlife that surrounded you. It is time to say goodbye to your safari guide before taking the scenic route toward Arusha Airport.

The adventure transforms today: you are leaving the land of lions for the land of sultans. Your internal flight from Arusha to Zanzibar is an experience in itself. Watch from the window as the continent fades away, giving way to the infinite shades of blue of the Indian Ocean that herald your arrival in paradise. On the Spice Island, a new driver will welcome you for your transfer. The drive to your seaside hotel immerses you in the tropical atmosphere of the island. Drop off your bags, the white sand and turquoise waters await. The beach portion of your Tanzanian trip begins.

Days 9-13

Leisure and Turquoise Waters

Zanzibar beach

Your first full day of relaxation in Zanzibar begins. Wake up to the gentle sound of the waves and enjoy breakfast facing the vastness of the Indian Ocean. Today, the program is simple: adopt the local pace, the famous "pole pole" (slowly, slowly).

During your days, the magnificent beaches of Zanzibar are yours, with their sand as fine as flour and waters revealing an incredible gradient of blues. This free day in Zanzibar is yours: lounge on a sunbed with a good book, swim in the warm and crystal-clear waters, or go for a long walk along the shore while watching the "dhows"—traditional boats gliding on the horizon. It is the perfect opportunity to disconnect completely after the intensity of the safari and simply savor the present moment.

Day 14

Last Moments on the Island

Zanzibar sunset

This is your last full day in paradise, a moment to soak up the unique "sweet life" of Zanzibar one last time. Time slows down to allow you to fully enjoy the end of your Zanzibar vacation. The program is free: one last swim in the warm, translucent waters of the Indian Ocean, a nap in the shade of a coconut tree, or searching for the most beautiful shell during a long walk on the warm sand.

At the end of the day, don't miss the daily—yet always unique—spectacle of the sunset over Zanzibar. Get comfortable, feet in the sand with a fresh fruit cocktail, and watch the sky ignite with flamboyant colors. It is the perfect moment to reminisce about the highlights of your safari and etch these last images of Tanzania into your memory.

Day 15

Departure

Departure

All good things must come to an end, and this final morning is meant to be savored gently. Take time for an ultimate breakfast facing the Indian Ocean, recalling the flavors and colors of your stay in Zanzibar. Depending on your flight time, the morning is free. It is the perfect opportunity for one last dip in the turquoise waters, a short walk to buy some local handicraft souvenirs, or simply to sit on the white sand and let your mind wander through the highlights of your adventure.

When the time comes, your driver will take you for your transfer to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ). It is time for farewells, but not goodbyes. You will embark on your return flight, your head and heart filled with unforgettable images: the majesty of a Tarangire elephant, the vastness of the Serengeti, and the serenity of Zanzibar's beaches. This is not the end of a trip, but the beginning of Tanzanian memories that will last a lifetime.
