Materuni Waterfall and Coffee Plantation
Materuni waterfall day trip is perfect to escape the busy routine. This stunning Waterfall is 70m tall located in a small village in Northern Tanzania sitting at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro. Standing at 2500m above sea level, this beautiful waterfall is surrounded by a tropical rainforest, coffee plantation , banana and avocado farms.
This green village is surrounded by a dense vegetation, coffee plantation and the famous waterfall, the Materuni waterfall. Materuni Waterfall Day Trip is the best short escape to enjoy african nature and refresh or start a short hike to acclimate yourself in case you willing to hike Kilimanjaro in the days to come.
The tour will continue with a visit to the local village with a coffee plantations tour. The local will show you the process of coffee farming and guide you through the preparation of coffee from a bean to a cup. They will invite you to sing and dance along with the Chaga people

Tour Plan
Day trip MATERUNI WATERFALL AND COFFEE PLANTATION
The tour starts at 08.30 with a walk to Materuni Waterfall.
Your guide will take you through plantations of local fruits like avocados, bananas and coffee. Once you get to the waterfall, you can refresh yourself in the natural pool, don't forget your swimming suit !
Your tour will continue with a local lunch served inside a local village locatec next to a coffee plantations. The villagers will show how the coffee is made and guide you through the steps of the preparation from a bean to a cup. They will also invite you to sing and dance along with the Chaga people.
Then you will be descending and having a small trek to return to the exit gate and be dropped of at your hotel in Moshi.
