Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrival in Tanzania
You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport upon your arrival and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town; get ready for an adventure of a lifetime as your guide briefs you on everything you need to know about your upcoming safari. From start to finish, we've got you covered with all the information and support you need for an unforgettable experience.
Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
In the morning, after having breakfast at your hotel, your safari guide will come to pick you up to begin your safari to Tarangire National Park. This nature reserve boasts a landscape of bush savannah, seasonal swamps, and towering baobab trees. It is widely regarded as the best place in East Africa to see elephants. Not only are they found in large numbers, but they are also accustomed to the presence of vehicles, allowing you to get closer to these majestic creatures.
In addition to the elephants, the park is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including Masai giraffes, various gazelles and antelopes, buffaloes, lions, leopards, baboons, and over 500 species of birds. Whether you are an animal or bird lover, Tarangire National Park is a must-visit destination.
After the game drive, you will depart from the park in the late afternoon and head to your lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 3: Tarangire – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, we will set off towards the Serengeti National Park, passing through the picturesque highlands of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa and enter the Serengeti National Park. The park boasts endless plains that stretch out as far as the eye can see.
We will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area. This is one of the most wildlife-rich areas in the park, with the Seronera River providing a vital source of water that attracts a diverse range of wildlife species. Here, you can see representatives of most of the Serengeti's animals.
Upon arrival, we will enjoy lunch before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park. After an exciting day exploring the park and observing its wildlife, we will transfer you to your lodge for the night.
Day 4: Full Day Serengeti National Park
After enjoying breakfast, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Lunch will be served at a picturesque picnic spot en route. Depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to witness one of nature's most remarkable events - the great migration of hundreds of thousands of wildebeests, zebras, and Thompson's gazelles. During the small rainy season in October and November, the herds typically move from the Kenyan Masai Mara through the northwest of the Serengeti to the southern plains. After the great rainy season in April, May, and June, the herds gradually return through the western and north-western parts of the park.
It's important to note that the migration timetable can be influenced by changes in rainfall, leading to animals migrating at different times and routes. Your guide will do their utmost to locate the herds and ensure that you have the best chance of witnessing this awe-inspiring natural spectacle. The migration also attracts predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs, and hyenas, and with some luck, you may witness a thrilling predator-prey interaction.
After a day filled with adventure and wonder, you will return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After breakfast, you'll head to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, home to the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. You'll spend the day exploring the crater's unique ecosystem, which supports a diverse array of wildlife, including black rhinos, lions, and elephants. In the late afternoon, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.
Day 6: Fly to Zanzbar fom Serengeti
After breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for a short flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you'll be met by your driver and transferred to your beach resort, where you'll spend the next few days relaxing on the white sand beaches, swimming in the turquoise waters, and enjoying the island's unique culture and cuisine.
Day 6 – 7- 8 : Full Day Zanzibar Beach Life
Today, you'll have a full day to explore Zanzibar, either on your own or with a guide. In the evening, you'll have a farewell dinner before heading back to your resort for your final night in paradise.
