Our Great Serengeti Migration Safari tour has been crafted to enhance your opportunities to witness the great Serengeti Wildebeest Migration. So as to maximize your game viewing time in the northern Serengeti, this itinerary allows you to fly back from the Serengeti National Park to Moshi. The package also gives you an opportunity to visit the world famous Ngorongoro Crater. From August all the way to October, the migration heads north, out of the central Serengeti, splitting into two routes. The largest group heads into the western corridor crossing the Grumeti River in spectacular stampedes. The African Nile crocodiles wait patiently to snatch wildebeests as they make way across the river so as to end up in the Nothern part of the park where they will be making another river crossing at Kogatende(north Serenget) to cross the Mara River and reach the lush grazing in Kenya's Masai Mara.

Vaccination and documents required for your 7 day great migration safari
- Officially no vaccinations are mandatory regarding yellow fever or malaria but we highly recommend you to get vaccinated against the yellow fever before you travel to Tanzania.
- Citizens of most Western countries need a visa for travel to Tanzania for visits up to 90 days. The cost is $50 USD for all nationalities and is valid for 30 days after issue, and $100 for USA citizen.
- All travellers will need a passport which will remain valid for at least 6 months longer than your expected visit.
- Each traveller is responsible for sorting out their own passport and visa requirements, and we cannot offer much assistance in this matter.
What should you pack for your 7 day safari?
- Tanzania’s climate can be unpredictable. Once your booking is confirmed you will receive a detailed packing list. Meanwhile we suggest you to wear comfortable and light clothes. You will spend a lot of time in the vehicle for several hours each day. The weather in the parks is very warm. Always avoid wearing dark blue or black, these colours attract tsetse flies.

Tour Plan
Day 1 Arrival in Arusha city
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro Intl Airport, you'll be greeted by a member of Africa bucket list. And escorted to your hotel in Arusha where you will spend the night relaxing.
Day 2 Arusha to Tarangirie
In the morning you will be picked up at your hotel in Arusha by our personal safari guide and our driver. We will be heading towards Tarangire National Park crossing the Masai plains. Tarangire National Park is well known to be called the empire of elephants. You will experience the savanna life and life by witnessing animals rooming free such as zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe. Tarangire is also known to have lion stalking prey or relaxing in the trees above.
After this exiting game drive we drive to your accommodation for dinner and a well deserved night.
Day 3 Serengeti (Central Seronera)
Today, after your breakfast we will start our journey toward the central serengeti. We will pass through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, you will have the chance to witness the stunning sceneries of Ngorongoro Crater before arriving to the Serengeti National Park which. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park in Tanzania, is famed for its many grazing animals. It is here where the famous great migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope takes place.
After this exiting game drive we drive to Seronera Valley to spend the evening at your accommodation for dinner and a well deserved night.
Day 4 Northern Serengeti
On this Fourth day of the great migration safari and after your breakfast, we will be heading to the western corridor of Serengeti. You will witness a bunch of wildebeests, zebras, elands and gazelles mill around the Grumeti River. You can spot also leopards and hyenas and crocodiles. Some perish while crossing the river. The scenery is breathtaking, it will show you the hard and stunning wild animal world.
After this game drive we drive towards your accommodation for dinner and a well deserved night.
Day 5 Serengeti (Central )
Today the game drive will be happening in Central Serengeti. The Serengeti is habitat of an abundance of wildlife. During the month of November and December the animals move from the northern region to the south. And during the month of April and June they return to the north. Beside this stunning migration happening in front of your eyes you will also have the chance to see predators such as leopard, cheetah, and lion roaming around.

Day 6 Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro crater
Today after breakfast, you will drive from Serengeti National Park to the Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is famous for being home to all five species of large African mammals: - elephants - rhinos - buffalos - lions - leopards. The crater itself was formed by volcanic activity approximately two million years ago. It is more more pleasant to visit the ngorongoro crater during low season.
After a full afternoon inside the Crater, we drive towards your accommodation for dinner and a well deserved night.
Day 7 Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
This epic safari of 7 day will be ended by exploring Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is known for its tree climbing lions, endangered rhinos and hippos. One of Manyara’s most prominent features is Lake Manyara itself. The lake attracts many birds and water-loving animals, including flamingos, which nest along its shores each year.
After this epic safari we will return to Arusha in the late afternoon, with images of this stunning wild life in our head.
