At 08:30 hours, your Tanzania safari adventure begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, followed by a scenic drive to Tarangire national park. The Tarangire River runs through the park attracting a huge number of elephants, buffalo, giraffe and antelope, particularly in the dry season between June and October. It is not uncommon to see large herds of elephants roaming through Tarangire’s savannah grasses or taking shade under the odd looking “upside down trees” (baobab) that are dotted around the park. The park also boasts over 550 different bird species, the most diverse in Africa, including the Kori Bustard, the heaviest flying bird in the World!
Your first safari day comes to an end. Dinner will be served with a good rest at your accommodation at Ngare lodge.

Rise and shine at 06:30 to catch a stunning sunrise over the Great East African Rift Valley.
The drive to Serengeti National Park takes you through the beautiful high-lying farmlands of Karatu town and many picturesque villages, all the way to the Ngorongoro Gate. After registration, you’ll drive up to the Ngorongoro Crater viewpoint to capture some stunning photos of the crater floor from the rim.
Next, you’ll head down to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park, with its endless rolling plains. You’ll arrive at the Nabi Hills gate in the afternoon, where you can enjoy your packed lunch or stop at the Kopjes (rocky outcroppings) before embarking on an afternoon game drive in the central Serengeti area known as Seronera. During the drive, you’ll have the chance to spot the big cats and witness the Great Wildebeest Migration (depending on your travel dates). However, even without the migration, the Serengeti is a magnificent wildlife destination, where you can expect to see herds of buffalo, giraffes, warthogs, topi, eland, hippos, African elephants, and many other wildlife species. Get ready for an unforgettable safari experience in one of the world’s most iconic national parks.
Your second safari day comes to an end. Dinner and overnight at Takaone camp. All meals included.
Rise and shine early at 06:30 am to embark on a sunrise game drive in the vast plains of the Serengeti. Keep your eyes peeled for cat families on the move, as they navigate through the morning mist. You might also spot some nocturnal predators returning from their long night of hunting, or catch a glimpse of some animals grazing along the road. Witness the excitement of a group of lionesses organizing a morning ambush.
Afterwards, take a break for breakfast somewhere in the bush, before following the Great Migration (depending on the traveling dates). Watch in awe as the animals go about their daily activities like hunting, eating, fighting, and sometimes even killing. Even if the Great Migration is not in Serengeti, there are still over 10,000 resident wildebeests to spot. The drive along the richest area of Seronera River is also one of the best experiences, with or without the migration herds. Keep your eyes peeled for predators like lions, hyenas, jackals, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes require sharp eyes to spot.
Late afternoon transfer to Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge where you will have dinner and overnightAll meals included.
After an early breakfast, You will descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro conservation Area supports avast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, is it’s dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can usually been seen here.
You will be transferred back to your hotel in Arusha or at the Kilimanjaro International Airport if departing on this day.
