On arrival at Kilimanjaro airport, your friendly Africa Bucket List guide will meet you and take you straight to your hotel, where you can relax and enjoy the African atmosphere. The next day, your private safari begins. Your guide will make sure you have a great time and enjoy your safari to the full.
After breakfast in Arusha, embark on a two-hour journey to Tarangire National Park. On the way, you'll witness the vibrant colours of Tanzania and may catch a glimpse of Maasai herders with their herds of goats. Once in Tarangire, you'll be greeted by a vast golden savannah surrounding the Tarangire River. Known as the ‘elephant playground’, this park is home to Tanzania's largest population of elephants. Tarangire is also home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle.
After breakfast, you will set off for the magnificent Serengeti National Park. In the late morning, you will reach the Serengeti, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the most famous national park in the world. You'll go on safari and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, the fantastic changes in light and, of course, you'll spot the many animals that have made this their home. Your driver-guide will be delighted to share with you his knowledge of this incredible place and its flora and fauna. After the safari, you will be taken to your accommodation for a welcome rest, evening meal and overnight stay. For the seconde day, We recommend an early morning safari starting at 6.30am. Today you will spend a full day in the Serengeti National Park. The excursion will take you to the kopjes, famous for the large numbers of carnivores that rest there to await their prey at night, and along the plains where the wildebeest migration usually takes place.
You'll embark on an adventure to one of nature's wonders, the Ngorongoro Crater. After breakfast, you'll take an en-route safari through the Naabi Hills Gate and the Malanja Depression before arriving at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You'll descend 600 meters into the crater floor for a breathtaking wildlife-watching experience.
The picturesque crater is also home to a dense population of predators such as hyenas, lions, cheetahs, jackals and the mysterious leopard, which requires a keen and practiced eye to spot. Bird lovers will be delighted by the abundance of water and forest birds. If you're lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of the Big Five during a day's safari.
Break for lunch, then return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
After a leisurely breakfast, our driver will take you to Arusha airport for your flight to the Spice Island.
On arrival at Zanzibar airport, you will meet our representative who will transfer you to the hotel. You will be welcomed by our hotel partner, who will take good care of you. You'll spend all those days in Zanzibar. The attractions found on this amazing island will make your trip fantastic. You'll have the chance to visit the island and other major tourist areas. You'll spend time on the warm sandy beach swimming and enjoying the coastal breeze.
Today, it's off home; you'll have breakfast in the morning, followed by a relaxing moment on the beach. Later, you'll be transferred to the airport in time for your flight home. It was a pleasure to welcome you to Tanzania, and we hope your bucket list has been completed with us.
