This route is the steepest with the shortest and most direct routes to the Southern Glaciers, Western Breach and Uhuru Peak. It is probably the most scenic, non-technical route on Kilimanjaro. However it is quite taxing, primarily due to the relatively fast ascent to higher altitude, but the rewards are plentiful. Very steep route best suited to experienced trekkers.

We will pick you up around 8.00 am from your hotel in Moshi and transfer you to Marangu gate. After your registration done we will begin the hike. A one-day trip leads you up to Mandara Hut and back to the entry gate. On this hike day you will reach the first camp of Kilimanjaro. If you are thinking to take the route of Marangu, you will definitely enjoy the tropical wilderness of the rain forest. Later you will proceed to the descend through the forest trail back to the gate. From there we transfer you back to your hotel.
We will pick you up around 8.00 am from your hotel in Moshi and transfer you to Londrossi. After registration done we begin the hike. One this one day hike you will lead you through the moorland and into the Alpine desert. You hike around 2-4 hours to the Shira Plateau. Later you will proceed to the descend from the same trail back back to the gate. From there we transfer you back to your hotel.

Marangu Route Kilimanjaro Trek, commonly known as the Coca Cola route. It is the oldest established route and considered to be the easiest route on the mountain. This is the only route offering overnights stays in huts, versus tent camping on all other routes. Huts have a significant impact on the overall cost because with fewer items to carry (especially tents), less staff are required in climbing crews, thus reducing the overall cost and making Marangu the most affordable route for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the second chosen route of the Africa bucket list guest. The minimum days required for this route is five, and the rate of success to reach the top within 5 day is a bit low. Spending an extra acclimatization day on the mountain is highly recommended. That way you can maximize your chance of reaching the summit.

Known as the Whisky Route, this is one of the most scenic and therefore popular routes on the mountain and offers adventurous climbers stunning scenic outlooks. With paths through magnificent forests to gain a ridge leading through the moorland zones to late sunsets at Shira Plateau to the misty revelations of Kibo at the great Barranco Wall.
It then traverses beneath the glaciated precipices of the Southern Ice fields to join the Barafu Route to the summit. Because it can be done over longer periods and the incline is more manageable it has a much higher success rate of summit.
The Lemosho Route is considered the most beautiful route trek on Mount Kilimanjaro. As a newer route, it is more remote and arguably more beautiful, but a bit longer and slightly more expensive. It starts on the Western side of the mountain at the Londorossi Gate, which is a further drive from town, and was introduced as an alternative to the Shira route. After beautiful forests and moorlands it crosses the Shira Plateau on day 3 to connect with the Machame Route at Lava Tower and down towards Barranco Valley via the Southern Circuit. You may be lucky enough to see buffalo, elephant and other game. Because this route can be done over a longer period of time for acclimatization, it has a higher success rate of summit.
Lemoshe route Kilimanjaro trek Miles: 47.5 Round Trip
The Success Rate is around 90% on 8 days itinerary. As a newer route, it is more remote and arguably more beautiful, but a bit longer and slightly more expensive. Because this route can be done over a longer period of time for acclimatisation, it has a higher success rate of summit.
